One of the questions I get asked more than anything else is:
"Where should I take my senior pictures?"
The truth is… there isn't one perfect location.
The perfect location is the one that tells your story.
Your senior portraits shouldn't just be beautiful. They should reflect who you are during one of the biggest milestones of your life. Whether you're dreaming of waterfalls, flower fields, downtown streets, your school's football field, or somewhere completely unexpected, the location you choose helps tell your story.
Over the years, I've spent countless hours exploring Northeastern Pennsylvania in search of places that photograph beautifully. Some are well known local favorites, while others are quiet hidden gems I've discovered along the way. Here are a few of my favorite locations and styles to help inspire your dream senior session. There are in no specific order.
🌳 1. Nay Aug Park – Scranton

🌲 2. Forest Adventure

🏈 3. Your School, Stadium, or Favorite Sport

✨ Let's Find the Perfect Location Together ✨
Choosing the perfect location can feel overwhelming. But don't worry, you don't have to figure it out alone.
These are just a few of my favorite places and styles, but Northeastern Pennsylvania is filled with incredible locations waiting to be explored. Some are well known destinations, while others are quiet hidden gems I've discovered after years of scouting, driving back roads, and chasing the perfect light.
When you book your senior session, we'll talk about you. Your personality, hobbies, outfits, favorite colors, and the overall vision you have for your photos. From there, I'll recommend locations that fit your style perfectly.
Maybe it's a scenic park you've always loved. Maybe it's a sunflower field glowing at golden hour. Maybe it's your football stadium on a Friday evening. Maybe it's your grandparents' farm or your favorite hiking trail. Or maybe it's one of my favorite hidden gems that you've never heard of before.
Don't see the perfect location on this list? That's okay. I'm always looking for new places to photograph, and some of my favorite sessions have happened in locations I'd never photographed before. If a place means something to you, I'd love to create something special there. No matter where we go, the goal is always the same—to create a senior session that feels authentic, relaxed, and uniquely yours.
Because your senior photos shouldn't look like everyone else's.
They should tell your story.
